Call for Family Participants: Impact of COVID-19 on Families of Infants and Toddlers with Disabilities: Learning through Family Photos and Stories
Please consider assisting Dr. Kimberly Hile and Dr. Jenna Weglarz-Ward in identifying family participants willing to engage in a photo-elicitation interview to understand how families of infants and toddlers with disabilities have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Families should have participated in Part C early intervention in 2020-2021. They will be asked to complete a brief demographic survey that should take no longer than 10 minutes to complete. They will also be asked to identify 5-10 photographs that highlight their experiences accessing services including Part C early intervention, child care, and medical care. Families and researchers will review the photographs during a 60 minute Zoom interview allowing families to share stories about their experiences. Families will receive two children’s books upon completion of the interview.
