DEC's Work

DEC Committees work in collaboration with and under the direction of the DEC Executive Office to complete specific projects and initiatives associated with fulfilling DEC's Mission and Vision, as well as the Racial Equity Point of View. These two guiding documents, developed by the DEC Executive Board and DEC Membership respectively, serve as the strategic vision for the organization.
 

DEC Committee members volunteer their time to serve on DEC Committees. DEC members serving on DEC Committees create national programs, events, and initiatives to develop competent and informed DEC members, professionals, policymakers, and families.
