DECIDE Call for Mentoring Coordinators

DEC's Consortium for Innovations in Doctoral Excellence (DECIDE) seeks to engage doctoral students and faculty members through mentoring relationships, professional development and networking opportunities throughout the year. Currently, DECIDE is searching for two mentoring coordinators (one professional/higher education faculty member and a doctoral student) to facilitate and support matches between graduate students and professionals/higher education faculty members in the fields of early intervention/early childhood special education (EI/ECSE).

Responsibilities of the position include:

(a) participate in monthly calls,

(b) attend the DECIDE Business Meeting and Mentoring Meet and Greet at the annual DEC Conference,

(c) assist in matching student-mentors for the Meet and Greet and through the Mentoring Initiative, and

(d) provide assistance for mentors and mentees throughout the year.
