This healthcare bill significantly cuts and caps Medicaid reimbursements for children and their families in early intervention, preschool special education and school programs. Funding for children is cut 31% in this bill.

The Graham-Cassidy bill would result in a 15% decrease of traditional Medicaid spending for people with disabilities and a 31% decrease of traditional Medicaid spending for children. Any bill that caps or cuts federal funding for Medicaid threatens vital health care that ensures young children with disabilities have adequate educational and developmental opportunities now so that they can contribute to society in the future. Please work in a bi-partisan fashion to protect and improve the Affordable Care Act and Medicaid.
