DEC Conversations - Open Mic Opportunity with Peggy Kemp, Executive Director

DEC Conversations offers a time to share what is on your mind as a DEC member. This means sharing what is going well/not going well and to share any ideas you have for a new DEC initiative, etc.

This month members of VOICES will join the conversation. The events in Charlottesville, Virginia have deeply touched our DEC Community. DEC members are actively engaged in assuring equity on a daily basis. DEC has been working through the VOICES Council over the last several months to support members in this mission. We have discussed ways to extend necessary conversations and spaces to promote equity and social justice in EI/ECSE (and in general).

On Friday at 11-12 MST/12-1CST/1-2EST we will open the mic to offer some space for the conversation. Also, please come ready to share your ideas on your response in your program/classroom to the events in our country and ideas for how DEC both in general and through VOICES Council can continue to support commitment to equity through programming and products.
