Your Expertise is Needed! EI/ECSE Draft Personnel Preparation Standards Webinar and Public Survey

The second draft of Early Intervention/Early Childhood Special Education Personnel Preparation Standards is ready for review. This is likely the last time you will have the opportunity to provide feedback to the DEC Standards Development Task Force. The survey will be launched with a webinar hosted by Dr. Eva Horn, the Chair of the Early Intervention/Early Childhood Special Education (EI/ECSE) Task Force on September 25th, 11:00 – 12:30 (EDT). We're proud and excited to formally congratulate our 2019 DEC Award Winners. The DEC Awards Program allows us to recognize our colleagues and students for their contributions to the field and our organization. Opportunities for Families Attending the DEC 2019 Conference

Family Scholarships This year, DEC will be offering three $500 scholarships for families attending the DEC 2019 conference to help with travel, accommodations, and logistics. You can apply for the scholarship here. Please submit your application by August 16th, 2019 for consideration. Family Registration Waivers Family members of young children with disabilities between the ages of 0 and 8 can apply for a registration waiver (free conference registration!).
