Optimizing Adaptive Behavior of Preschoolers with Motor Disabilities: Teacher & Parent Perspectives

Call for Focus Group Participants!


Are you a preschool teacher with at least 1 year of experience in a classroom that includes preschoolers with motor disabilities or the parent of a child 4-8 years of age with a motor disability? If so, please consider joining one of our focus groups.


The Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences at Drexel University is seeking preschool teachers and parents of children with motor disabilities, ages 4-8 years old, to participate in a research study being conducted by Dr. Lisa Chiarello in collaboration with Dr. Rebecca Lieberman-Betz at the University of Georgia. The purpose of the study is to gather the perspectives of teachers and parents on team collaboration with family engagement to support adaptive behavior outcomes of preschool students with motor disabilities who require physical assistance from others or devices to move around their environment.
