Please consider assisting Dr. Jessica Toste by sharing this information with caregivers of preschool-aged children who may be interested in participating in a research study.
Dr. Toste and her colleagues at The University of Texas at Austin (UT) are conducting a study to better understand how preschool-aged children can learn about anti-Black racism with their caregivers at home. They aim to develop and test the potential of the GoKAR! (Kids Against Racism) Program to reduce bias and increase awareness of racism. For this study, they are recruiting caregiver-child pairs to use the program materials at home and talk about their experiences.
Participants include children aged 4-5 years who have not yet begun Kindergarten and their caregivers (parent/guardian), from across the United States. Upon completion of study activities, participants receive a $25 gift card.
