Consistent with DEC’s governance process, members are asked to vote to accept or
decline the proposed slate. This approach recognizes that effective governance
depends upon the collective capacity of the Board and supports the development of a
leadership team that can best steward DEC’s mission, Ends, and Racial Equity Point of
View.
