The Division of Early Childhood's mission in part states: "We advance and shape leadership, research, policy, and practice that supports, engages, and informs those who care for, educate, and work on behalf of young children with or at risk for developmental delays and disabilities."

DEC's Publication and Products Advisory Committee supports DEC's mission by overseeing generation and synthesis of evidence and information into accessible and practical publications and products for various stakeholders.

The DEC Publications and Products Inventory was released in September, 2025 with a detailed list and links to publications and products within 15 categories.

This webinar will provide a full overview of the DEC Publications and Products Inventory with suggestions for use by various stakeholders and user groups considering broad principles of knowledge translation.

Participants in the Learning Deck will:

  • gain an understanding of the creation and purpose of each of the broad categories of DEC Publications and Products included in the 2025 inventory.
  • become familiar with the "Knowledge-to-Action" framework along with factors influencing the implementation of new information into routines and practices.
  • conceptualize the packaging of resources selected from the DEC Publications and Products Inventory to create a personal professional development plan and/or workforce development plan.
