Your Expertise is Needed! EI/ECSE Draft Personnel Preparation Standards Webinar and Public Survey
The second draft of Early Intervention/Early Childhood Special Education Personnel Preparation Standards is ready for review. This is likely the last time you will have the opportunity to provide feedback to the DEC Standards Development Task Force.
The survey will be launched with a webinar hosted by Dr. Eva Horn, the Chair of the Early Intervention/Early Childhood Special Education (EI/ECSE) Task Force on September 25th, 11:00 – 12:30 (EDT).
During the webinar Dr. Horn will present the latest version of the Standards and Components and introduce the Supporting Explanations written for each Component. The webinar will be recorded and available on the DEC website after the event.
After the webinar, DEC will open an online public survey to collect feedback. The survey will be available from September 25th, 2019 through October 11th, 2019. Access information will be available during the webinar and then posted on both the DEC and CEC websites.
