RFP Opportunity from the US Department of Education, Institute for Education Sciences - Deadline Ext

On January 11, 2018, Mathematica Policy Research released a request for proposals (RFP) for a rigorous pilot study of an intervention program for children served in inclusive preschool classrooms. This study, the Evaluation of Preschool Special Education Practices (EPSEP), is being conducted by Mathematica, the Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute, and the University of Florida on behalf of the US Department of Education, Institute of Education Sciences.

EPSEP intends to provide evidence of the implementation and impact of an intervention program (consisting of a content-specific curriculum for all children in preschool inclusive classrooms and targeted instructional supports for children with disabilities), on children’s language, literacy, and/or social-emotional/behavioral skills development. We are seeking offerors who can propose an appropriate intervention program and provide initial training and ongoing support to implement it for the evaluation. The period of performance will be during the 2019-2020 school year, although a second year of implementation (2020-2021) will be considered.

Deadline Extended: Submissions are now due March 26, 2018.

The RFP is available HERE.
