Position Announcement: DEC Executive Director
DEC is seeking applicants for the Executive Director (ED) position. The ED’s role within DEC is to plan, develop, administer, facilitate, and oversee all operations and activities of DEC, consistent with DEC’s primary outcome and commensurate with Board expectations. The primary outcome of DEC is that young children with disabilities and other special needs participate as full members of their families and communities and benefit from competent, informed, connected and diverse professionals, families, and policy makers. The Executive Director is accountable to the elected Board of Directors in ensuring that the organization meets its expectations.
